Elijah Stout performed Patriotic Service in the American Revolution
Elijah Stout, son of James and Rachel Higgins Stout, was born March 14 1761 Hunterdon, NJ and died May 27 1838. He married (1) Sarah Stout, daughter of Benjamin and Mary Higgins Stout, about 1780  and (2) Anna Stout November 19 1783 and emigrated to Fayette County, KY. He served as a private in the Revolutionary War and Anna drew his pension benefits until her death in 1842.
