Son of Butler Bird Stout and Eunice Olive Miles.

Married wife Carrie E. Strable about 1928, presumably in either Madison Co or Polk Co, Iowa. No direct record of children.

Research Notes

"Hazel Stout" appears in the 1940 census as "daughter, age 18, single". This puts her birth year as 1922, but father Cleo is listed as Single in 1925, and Hazel doesn't appear in the 1930 census at all. Adopted during the 1930s?

Records also show a Hazel May Keith (b1921-12-22 in Creston, to Guy Keith and Ethel Greenwalt) who married Burl Stout (no known relation) 1940-03-09 in Massena, which would make her "Hazel Stout" in time for the census on 1940-04-17. This would also make her a "lodger, age 18, married".
