At 3, in 1880, he was still at Carterville with his parents, his Grandparents Ely and Malinda Stover, and a George Stover and a Mary Stover.[2]
At 23, in 1900, he was living in Carterville, Williamson, with his parents Andrew and Rebeca and siblings Richard, Maud, Lizzie, Minnie and Ida.[3]
At 23, on the 1st of November, 1900, he married Della Ann Crain at Carterville, in Williamson Co., and they had 4 children.[4][5]
At 33, in 1910, he was a coal miner, owning his own home, living in Carterville, Ward 2, Williamson, with Della (28), Evangeline (8), Agnes (5) and Mildred (3),[6]
At 43, in 1920, he was a coal miner, living in his own home at 904 Mesbury St, Carterville, with Della, Eva, Agnes, Pearl and Willie,[7]
At 53, in 1930, he was still a coal miner, living in his own home, at Dobson Street, Carterville, with Della and a Patsy Ann Stover.[8]
At 63, on the 1st of April, 1940, he was a slate picker, in a rented house in S Division Street, Carterville, living with Della (58), Reba Ridley (33), Patricia Stover (14), Claude Ridley Jr (14), and Jack Ridley (12).[10]
and at 65, in 1942. he was living at Carterville. (U.S., World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942)
At 85, on 8 Jun 1963, he lost Della with her death at 81in Carterville,.[11].[citation needed]
At 87, on the 2nd of April, 1965, he died at Carterville, and was buried or cremated in the Egyptian Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Herrin, Williamson Co., Illinois, USA.[1][12]
