Biography

Daughter of Sylvester Stover and Elizabeth Stover. Wife of James Sayward. Mother of Deborah Stevens. Sister of John Stover, Sr.; Elizabeth Stover; Sarah Butland; Dependence Stover; Mary Sipperly; George Stover, Sr.,; Hannah Church and Josiah Stover.

Deborah married James Sayward, probably in Gloucester, Essex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, by about 1694.[1]

Deborah (Stover) Sayward died in Gloucester on 13 Jul 1734. She was buried there, in the First Parish Church Burial Ground.[2][3] Note: Daughters Elizabeth and Deborah were christened in 1703. Exact birth days are not included in the records.
