While Married to Thomas Horner she also conducted a long-term partnership with Henry Fox and secretly married her 13 year old daughter Elizabeth Horner to Henry's brother, Stephen Fox, 1st Earl of Ilchester. Stephen Fox had been the lover of Lord Hervey for a period of ten years, from 1726 to 1736.
