Biography
Solomon Hunter STRATTON was born about 14 September 1798[1] in Floyd County, Kentucky and died on 17 August 1882 in Mare Creek, Floyd County, Kentucky. He was the son of Tandy STRATTON and Mildred LAYNE. He is buried in Stratton Cemetery, Stanville, Floyd County, Kentucky.[2], [3]

Solomon Hunter STRATTON was married on 30 November 1820 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Jane "Jenny" Shannon LAYNE.[4]
Jane Shannon LAYNE was born about 26 January 1804 in Laynesville, Floyd County, Kentucky and died on 22 April 1894 in Floyd County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of James Shannon Layne and Katherine Hagar. She is buried in Stratton Cemetery, Stanville, Floyd County, Kentucky.[3]
