Doshie Stratton, daughter of James Stratton and Candace Carringer, was born on 15 December 1900 in Graham County, North Carolina. She passed away on 16 June 1974 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia and is buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Fulton County, Georgia.

Doshie lived most of her life in Georgia and was married at least three times: first to Charlie Deaton; then to James A. Aldred; lastly to Kyle F. Brantley. There may have been a marriage to a Mr. Griffin but I can't confirm that.

Mrs. K. F. Brantley

Services for Mrs. Kyle F. (Doshie Straton) Brantley, 73, of 108 Elizabeth St. NE will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at East Side Baptist Church, burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs Brantley died Sunday, apparently from a heart attack. Survivors include her widower; sons, Hardy Deaton of Atlanta, James Aldred of Decatur and George Griffin of Doublasville; daughters, Mrs. Annie Mae Pierce of Atlanta and Mrs. Johnny Price of Goldsboro, N.C., and brother, Dillard Straton of Robinsville, N.C.
