Biography
Ava was born in May 1880 in Monroe County, Tennessee. She is the daughter of James Stratton and Candace Carringer. She is found on the 1880 census in Monroe County, but not on the 1900 census. She is presumed to have died prior to 1900 and possibly be buried in Lone Oak Cemetery, Graham County, North Carolina next to the gravesite of Candis (Carringer) Stratton.[1]
