New Info 09/30/2020 by Crump-517. Anthony Street died between 9 August 1788 (date that he signed his Last Will and Testament) and 7 June 1790 (date that his LW&T was submitted to the Amherst Co VA court by Anthony Street's designated Executors and proven in by the court. The persons named in his LW&T were - wife, Elizabeth (Brockman) Street (1715-1793), 4 children, sons Samuel William Street (1737-1813) and Thomas Street (abt.1739-abt.1800), daughters Elizabeth (Street) Smith (abt.1744-abt.1830) (spelling in LWT) and Frances Philadelphia (Street) Harrell (1748-1835) (spelling in LWT), four grandchildren - Anthony Cox (1758-), William Street Cox (1765-1836), Franny Crawley, and Elizabeth (Cox) Peyton (abt.1760-bef.1828). Executors named - John Wiatt, Richard Shelton, Richard Powell, and wife Elizabeth (Brockman) Street (1715-1793). Witnesses - Martin Parks, William Parks, and James Cary. Anthony Street's wife was Elizabeth (Brockman) Street (1715-1793), daughter of Samuell Brockman Sr. (abt.1680-1766) and Mary (Collins) Brockman (abt.1690-1766) of King & Queen and Orange counties, VA.They moved to Amherst County, VA, ca. 1770, and are buried on the farm where they lived, near Harris Creek in the south-central part of the county. ^{[7] [8]}

ANTHONY STREET (WILLIAM1) was born about 1710 in King William County, Virginia, and died 7 June 1790 in Amherst County, Virginia. He is buried, with his wife on his last plantation near Lynchburg, Virginia.

He married ELIZABETH “BETSEY” BROCKMAN, Elizabeth (Brockman) Street (1715-1793) in 1734 in Orange County, Virginia.  She was born about 1714 in King and Queen County, Virginia, the daughter of Samuell Brockman Sr. (abt.1680-1766) and Mary (Collins) Brockman (abt.1690-1766) . Betsey died in 1793.  

Children of ANTHONY STREET and ELIZABETH BROCKMAN are:

 Samuel William Street (1737-1813) was born in 1737 in Orange County, Virginia, and died 3 May 1813 in Jackson County, Georgia.  He marriedLurana (Cox) Street (abt.1740-1779) about 1758 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.  He married Mary (Stamps) Street (1763-1813) on 15 December 1783 in Henry County, Virginia.  Mary was the daughter of Timothy Stamps Sr., M.D. (1728-1801) and Catherine (Rhoades) Stamps (1730-abt.1801).  Samuel was a Revolutionary War Veteran serving as a Private in Captain Hook’s Company of the 13th Virginia Regiment. ^[9]

 Thomas Street (abt.1739-abt.1800) was born about 1738 in Orange County, Virginia, and died in 1800 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. (See Below)

Rachael (Street) Cox (abt.1743-bef.1788) was born about 1741 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, and died before 1788 in Amherst County, Virginia.  She married Micajah Cox (1740-1808) about 1758 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.

 Elizabeth (Street) Smith (abt.1744-abt.1830) was born about 1743 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, and died in 1830 in Barren County, Kentucky.  She married William C Smith (abt.1739-1817) in 1764 in Amherst County, Virginia.  He was born on the banks of the James River in Virginia about 1740 and died on 17 May 1817 in Cumberland County, Kentucky.

 CATY STREET was born about 1745 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, and died before 1788 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.  She married Mr. CRAWLEY after 1763 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.

Frances Philadelphia (Street) Harrell (1748-1835) was born 0n 17 April 1748 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, and died on 10 June 1835 in Cleveland County, North Carolina.  About 1769 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, she married Housen Harrell (abt.1731-abt.1806).  He was born in 1740 in Virginia and died in July 1808 in Cleveland County, North Carolina.^[10]
