Obituary

COLUMBIA - Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Colonial Funeral Home for Frances L. Blackwell, 62, of Columbia, who died Aug. 15, 2005, at her home.

Burial will be in Lott Cemetery.

Mrs. Blackwell was a homemaker and a member of North Columbia Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl McBride.

Survivors include a son, Richard "Ricky" McBride of Columbia; a daughter, Sherrie Scarborough of Foxworth; two sisters, Reba Miller of Sandy Hook and Veta Broom of Columbia; and two grandchildren.
