Hi

I sent you a check-in message a week ago about the US Southern Colonies Project to ask you about your continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project? If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes,

Mary~ Project Coordinator, Membership, US Southern Colonies

Hello Susan,

During the winter, the Nordic Project performed check-ins, sent as a private message from your profile. You are one of those members who has not replied, and this is a last chance to get in touch and let me know if you like to continue as member in the Nordic Project.

Please answer this comment, and get in touch by sending me a private message. If we have not heard from you within a month you will be removed from the Nordic google group and your badge will be removed.

If you have not received any check-in emails, you might want to check that your email adress for WikiTree is one you actually still use.

Thank you!

Missy Berryann Co-Leader, Nordic Project

Hi Susan,

I saw your G2G comment that you were at the end of the line on your Danish ancestors. I've been neck deep in Danish research for awhile, so I took a look. I added some references in the comments to a couple of your profiles.

It looks like you've done the hard work of slogging through handwritten records. However, you've left the low hanging fruit of transcribed FamilySearch and DanishFamilySearch records. FamilySearch added new Danish church records a couple of weeks ago. I think if you look at those sources, you'll be able to push your Danish tree back much farther.

Happy hunting!

p.s. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.

I plan to keep this tree to family that I am pretty confident about. My main tree is on ancestry.com. It is private, but I am always willing to share with those who ask and have a public tree or will share their private tree with me.
