Seth Strong II was born on 26 June 1743 in Northampton, Hampshire, Province of Massachusetts Bay. His parents were (Deacon) Seth Strong and Lois (Strong) Strong.

Seth married Deborah Butler on 12 October 1768 in New Marlborough, Berkshire, Massachusetts.[1]
