Biography

The daughter of John Strong and Jennie (Gage) Strong, Amy was born in Commerce, Michigan in 1898.[1][2] Her family moved to California, but Amy stayed behind, living with her mother's sister, Helen (Gage) Church.[3]

Research Notes

No definitive records found on Ancestry or FamilySearch; it is a common name and she lived apart from her parents during childhood. She was not living with her aunt's family in Pontiac, Michigan at the time of the 1920 census but her sister, Helena, was.
