Biography

Maggie Strong was born on October 13, 1919 in St. John's, Newfoundland. Her parents were Absalom Strong and Lilla Taylor. She was living in Clarenville, Newfoundland with her parents in 1921^[1]and 1935^[2] She married Stanslou Stanley on November 26, 1940. They were living in Clarenville in 1945 and are listed on the census, there. ^[3]She died at age 69 on January 28, 1988 in Clarenville, and is buried in the United Church Cemetery at Clarenville. ^[4]
