Biography

John was born in 1860. He was the son of Samuel Stroup and Ann Parker. The 1860 and 1880 census information shows him living in Elkhart County, Indiana, with his parents and siblings. [1][2] In 1883 he married Emma May Showalter. [3] The 1900 census information shows him living with his first wife and children in Elkhart County, Indiana. [4] Emma Maye died in 1902. In 1904 he married his second wife Lettie Apple. [5]The 1910 and 1920 census information shows him living with his second wife and children in Elkhart County, Indiana. His occupation is listed as a farmer. [6][7] Charles passed away in 1929. [8]

His second wife Lettie Apple is being researched. She already may have a profile in WikiTree as Apple-506, but collaboration is being done with that profile manager at this time. Lettie has a Find A Grave memorial at ID 62016583. Long-14382
