Margaret was probably born before 1731, the daughter of John and Martha Strute (sic), and christened at Stody on 21 November that year[1]. The next entry is for Daniel, son of John and Martha, on the same day. Her parents married in October 1728, and there are no earlier christenings in the Stody register, so Margaret could have been born in 1729 which would have made her seventeen at the time of her marriage.
She married Peter Williams at Thornage on 16 October 1746[2]. Both were of the parish of Thornage.
Martha was born about 1728 and passed away about 1805.
