"Pieter <Jan> Stryker (Rn=1370), who was born 01 November 1653 at Flatbush, Kings County, New York and died 11 June 1741 at Flatbush, Kings County, New York at 87 years of age.

He married

  1. first, 29 May 1681 at Midwout, Kings County, New York Annatje <Barent> Ridder Stryker (Rn=1379), who was born October 1659 at New Amsterdam and died 17 June 1717 at Flatbush, Kings County, New York at 58 years of age, a daughter of Barent <Joost> Ridder (Rn=8062) and Seytje <Laurens> Pietersen Ridder (Rn=8063)
  2. and married second, after 1717 at Flatbush, Kings County, New York Aertje <Teunis> Bogart Polhemius/Stryker (Rn=1433), who was born December 1655 at Wallabout, New Netherland and was baptized at Reformed Dutch Church, New Amsterdam and died after 1721 at 66 years of age, a daughter of Teunis <Gijsbert> Bogaert (Rn=1432) and Sarah <Joris> Rapalje Bergen/Bogaert (Rn=1426).

In the name of God, Amen, April 23, 1729.
I, Pieter Strycker, of Flatbush, Kings Co., being in health, I leave to my seven children, John(Jan), Jacob, Peter, Hendrick, Zytie, wife of Aris Vanderbilt, and Lumitie, wife of Johannes Lott, all my personal estate, except that my son John shall have my silver hilted sword. I leave to my wife Aertje the use of the "Great Southern room" in my dwelling house at Flatbush, with liberty to pass through the house to fetch water, or any other business, and she is to be maintained with all the necessaries..
I make my sons John and Peter executors..
Witnesses: Martin Schenck, Adrian Hegeman, S. Gerritsen.. Proved March 1742..
