John Stuart was born about 1778 in Drainie, Moray, Scotland. John Stuart was the son of Patrick Stuart (1750–1778) and his wife Isobel Taylor (1748 – ?).

He was a Seaman working out of Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland.

He passed away on 29 May 1848 in Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland.[1]

John Stuart was married to Isabella Edward on 21 June 1798 in Drainie, Moray, Scotland.
