Biography

Thomas Stubbs was born circa 1753, in Tyrell county, North Carolina. Thomas was married first to Hannah Swinson and secondly to Mrs. Margaret (maiden name unknown) Jones. Applications for membership in the Society of the DAR have been made by the descendants of his son, John Stubbs, who married Anna Wallace^[1]

During the American Revolutionary War, he furnished clothing in support of the Continental Army war efforts. Thomas is honored for his Patriotic Service by the Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution as DAR Ancestor #A111890. and that he was twice married. ^[1]
