Note NI09289"Letha F. was walking to the store with Marjorie. Marjorie crossed the

street, but Letha had dropped her purse. She bent to pick it up and darted

across the street between two parked cars. She was struck and killed

instantly. This was witnessed by Marjorie (my grandmother) who related it

to my Aunt Judie (her daughter). Marjorie never really got over the horror

of the accident as, apparently, it opened up Letha's head."
