Research Note

In the 1850 census Jacob's name is listed as J M and their son's name is spelled as Lida which differs from the 1870 census and spelled Sida. The 1870 census is clearly an S compared with an L of the same handwriting. In addition on the marriage record it is Sida H Stump.

In the Profile, it is mentioned that Mary and Major, in 1870, were children of Jacob and Jane Stump.

Actually, Mary is there daughter-in-law and Major is their grandson.

Sandy,

The profile idenitifies Sida as son, Mary as wife and Major as son with sources nd the 1870 census names them living with his parents. Regatding your comment I did edit for your clarification. Sharon

Oops! I totally misread what you had in the Bio!

Thanks for your kindness.
