Jacob M Stump, son of Michael IV and Elizabeth Bush Stump, born February 8 1814 and died November 27 1895.[1] He married Jane Vannoy (Vanoy) September 8 1837.[2]
In 1870 jacob and Jane Stump's son Sida was living with them along with Mary, his wife and Major, his son, were living with [5]
Research Note
In the 1850 census Jacob's name is listed as J M and their son's name is spelled as Lida which differs from the 1870 census and spelled Sida. The 1870 census is clearly an S compared with an L of the same handwriting. In addition on the marriage record it is Sida H Stump.
