Biography

John Stump was born in 1865 in Germany. He was the son of Jacob Stump and Anna Margaretha Miefs.^{[1][2] [3]}

They immigrated to the United States in May, 1889 and settled in the Sedgwick County area of Kansas.^[4]

He married Elizabeth Ossweiler around 1901. ^[5] They had 2 children.

He passed away in 1930 and is buried at the Saint Marks Cemetery in Saint Marks, Kansas.^[6]
