Biography

Temperance Stump, daughter of Michael Sr and Mary Magdalena Richards Stump, born March 17 1806 on Steer Creek, Gilmer County, WV. [1][2] and died before 1872. She married John Wolfe Stout about 1829. She was the mother of Michael, Marshall, Magdalene, Elizabeth Jane, Susannah and Jacob.[3]
