I've been researching genealogy and family history since 2015 simply out of curiosity. I was born in Quincy, Illinois. Both sides of my family have been in the area as far back as seven generations. I currently live in New York City.

Hello Brian. From what I have gathered, George Adam Stumpf married Sara Mayer and had a son called Jeppe (Jesse later named)-- much later in life. I am sure there is a sordid story there which I can only imagine. Would love to connect with you. Jeppe became a Staub and I am part of tree. God Bless. = I am working on moving my Ancestry .com stuff to here and use both as a tool. Yours
Not related, just interested in his family history a while back and did some research. I have approved the request and added US Presidents Project Wikitree as manager to all of the Biden family profiles I manage.

Brian, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add
{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}
to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.
It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

My grandfather did a massive amount of genealogical work in his lifetime. I have been sifting through the data for a couple years now, and I would like to place it and build on it with an online resource. I discovered wikitree as a free and useful tool for doing so, and I don't really have any intention to pay for genealogy services elsewhere. Because of this, I would like to volunteer to help contribute to wikitree's mission, to expand other's knowledge as well as my own.
