Victor Albert Stumpf was born 24 Sep 1906 in Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada. Victor's birth affidavit from 1971 does not show his bio-father's name, however, some sources suggest that his father was Simon L. Schedewitz, Elizabeth Stumpf's brother-in-law who was married to Elizabeth's sister, Sophia Stumpf. Elizabeth would later marry John Andrew Miller in 1911 and raise a large family.
Victor's marriage record from 1926 shows that he was the adopted son of Charles (Carl) Kuhl & Elizabeth (Lizzie) Lang. The 1911 census shows him living in their household, aged 4 yrs.
