Biography

Edward was born in Sittingbourne in 1896, the son of Charles John Stupple and Emma Jury Hills.[1][2][3]

In the First World War, he joined the King's Royal Rifle Corps, 7th Battalion (service no. R/17878), and was killed in action on 11 Oct 1917 in Belgium.[4] His name is listed at the Tyne Cot Memorial in Belgium.[5]
