Christopher Sturdy was born in 1875 he was the son of William Sturdy of 23, Thistle Green, Stockton upon Tees who was an Innkeeper & Cab Driver from Yorkshire, England. See 1881 Census. He is listed on the 1911 census as STURRDY.
