Biography
Elnathan Sturgis was born 10 January 1711, in Fairfield, Fairfield, Connecticut, the son of Jonathan Sturges and Abigail Finch. He married Rebecca Turney on 14 March 1733, in Fairfield, Fairfield, Connecticut. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 5 daughters, though much fewer survived infancy:
