Biography

Thankful Sturgis was born on September 2, 1701, to James Sturgis and Rebecca (Thacher) Sturgis of Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1][2][3][4]

Thankful married Timothy Hallett as the first of the three wives he would have during his lifetime, but Thankful died giving birth to their only child, a daughter who also died, on January 10, 1721-2, in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1]
