Jonathan Sturgis was born on November 1, 1711, in Barnstable to Samuel Sturgis and Mary Ivet (Oris).^[1]

He married Sarah Baker on October 26, 1732, in Barnstable.^[2]They had two children born in Barnstable:

• Mary born 7 Sep 1733^[3]
• Samuel Born 27 May 1736^[4]

Jonathan likely died about August 10, 1750 (See Notes), in Barnstable, Massachusetts, at the age of 38.^[5]
