Eliza Stutesman wed John Long, 20 Nov 1855 Clark Co, Ind

Will of Eliza Long Whereas, I, Eliza Long, widow of John L. Long, deceased, of Owen Township, Clark County, Indiana, do make and publish this my last will and testament.

Item 1st - I give and devise to my beloved sisters, Julia A. Stutsman and Harriet E. Mobley, the farm on which we now reside, situate in Owen Township, Clark County, Indiana, containing about (57 1/2) fifty seven and one half acres, during their natural life, and all the stock, household goods, furniture, provisions and other good and chattles which may be thereon, and belonging to me, at the time of my decease to be theirs to do whatsoever they please therewith, and also all outstanding notes and the interest thereon. I also will that all of my debts, including my burial expenses be paid out of my property, and the residue to go to my beloved sisters as aforesaid.

Item 2nd - I hereby will and devise that in case my sisters above named should become deceased before me, my property should be divided equally among my three brothers and their heirs and to my sisters and their heirs.

In testimony hereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 7th day of July, in the year 1892.

When Eliza died her sister Harriet E. Mobley had previously died and her sister Julia A. Stutesman died 30 Dec 1901.
