Biography

William Stutt was born in Co Fermanagh, Ireland, the son of William Stutt and Elizabeth Stutt.^[1]

William lived in Canada for nine years,^[2] before travelling with his brother John Stutt to Victoria, Australia in 1853.^[3]

William married Julia Mary Conlan in 1888 in Victoria, Australia.^[4] Their children were:^[5]

• Annie Elizabeth Stutt (1892–1982)^[7]

William died on 29 August 1912 at his home in Doncaster, Victoria, aged 91.^[1][3] He was survived by his wife and one son and one daughter.^[2]
