***BIG STUTZ FAMILY NEWS***

  1. The brick wall regarding my paternal grandfather has finally been broken through and the astonishing fact that came to light is "Stutz" is not even the actual family surname. It's "Waxler", but he changed it to hide after a falling out with his family. Our nationality is likely more Romanian and Polish and less German than we were told growing up. Thank you cousin Enid!
  2. A Waxler family photo was located! It's the only one we have from about 1907 in NYC. It shows my grandfather Joseph as a child sitting between his parents. Thank you cousin Perry!

Hi Judi,

Well, you did it again! Thanks for the great profile of Mary Elizabeth Trueax-21 and husband. Enabled me to add son Clyde and wife.

I hope you are sitting down because the gush of air from my EUREKA may blow you over. You broke a brick wall for me about where my ggggrandfather Milo Maltby was buried. We always assumed he was buried in our small cemetery in Tylerville where he lived for most of his life. We have looked all over for Milo and Mercy Maltby but no luck. We always wondered if the plot might have been washed away down a creek bank. Some old stones over the years had been found there. After you added him on his daughter's death notice I found him in Minnesota. Many thanks for breaking a 20 year old brick wall. By the way, I think his name has been miss indexed as Niels on Cynthia's record. I am going to see if any one has an image. Familysearch does not.

I'm not sure what brought me to work on that particular profile but I'm happy to help :)

Thanks for supplying proofs Judy! That is very important in confirming merges.

You recently changed Milo Maltby-437's name to Neils. None of our family records have that connection. Can you tell me where you found your reason? Can you furnish the origin of place of burial? This may break a brickwall on Milo. He should be buried in Tylerville, New York, but we cannot find a headstone. He always lived in New York State after buying land in the early 1800s.

I've been chipping away at a list of mayors lately on the Tustin OPS. I also want to expand on the "El Camino Real" and add a photo of a bell that I plan on taking. They can be found all throughout the town. Maybe I'll take a series of them and paste them all together!

Thank you for spotting the profile of Peter Heathcote! Without any dates or places he would never have come up as a possible match. Thanks to your prompting, I have managed to identify his family in the Heathcote ONS, and have proposed merges for him and his father. I have asked to be added to the TL for his son - we'll see what happens!
