Eva Marie Catherine Stähle was born 5 August 1892 to Georg Konrad Stähle and his first wife, first name unknown, last name at birth Kaiser, in Oberdorf, Russia.
She married Heinrich "Henry" Hartwig shortly after she arrived in America.
Note that in this census she is listed by her first husband's surname, even though she had remarried and, presumably, based on the 1920 census, taken her second husband's surname as her own. It looks like her two oldest daughters belonged to Henry Hartwig, her first husband, but they were given the surname Cook in the 1920 census. Perhaps this was the census taker's way of correcting the error from the previous census.
