Obituary

Rubin A. Suchadoll

Funeral services for Rubin A. Suchadoll of Columbus were held Feb 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Frelsburg, under the direction of Henneke Funeral Home.

Interment was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Lynn Rostedt officiated at the services.

Mr. Suchadoll died at him home in Frelsburg on Feb. 21. He was a retired rancher and carpenter and formerly was employed by Drymalla Construction Co.

He was born Nov. 11, 1911 at the Brushy community, the son of John Suchadoll and Adel Sonsel Suchadoll. He was married on May 23, 1931 to the former Lena Brokmeyer.

A lifetime resident of Brushy and Frelsburg, Mr. Suchadoll was a member of the Lutheran Church, the Felsburg Volunteer Fire Department, treasurer of the New Ulm Rifle Club and past president of the Church Council.

He is survived by his wife Lena of Frelsburg, one daughter, Mrs. Ben D. (Joyce) Marek of New Ulm; one son, Leland Suchadoll of Frelsburg, one sister, Mrs. Claude Rhodes of Columbus; two brothers, Hubert Suchadoll of Frelsburg and Edgar Suchadoll of Columbus; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
