Biography

George Suckling was born about 1813 [1][2] in Hunsdon, Hertfordshire, England & baptised there 15th August 1813,[1][2] the son of William Suckling & Maria Hankin.

George Suckling, full age, Bachelor, B. Smith, of Widford, (son of William Suckling, B. Smith) & Sarah Bynoth, age 20, Spinster, of Widford, (daughter of John Bynoth, Lab'r) were married 30th September 1838 in the Parish Church of Widford, Hertfordshire, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England by Henry Hamond. George & Sarah both made their mark. Witnesses were Edward Newman & Rachel Newman.[3][4][5]

George Suckling died sometime after the 1881 Census was taken on 3rd April 1881 & before the 1891 Census on 5th April 1891 when his wife Sarah was listed as a widow.[6][7]
