Margaret (Suddaby) Green migrated from England to Canada.
Margaret was born in Seaton, Yorkshire, England, and baptised in 1836 in Sigglesthorne. She was the daughter of Samuel and Mary.[1] She lived with her family in Sigglesthorne in 1841.[2]
At the time of the 1851 census, Margaret worked as a domestic servant for the Ford family in Withernwick, Yorkshire.[3] In 1861 she worked as a servant for the Allisons in Hull, Yorkshire.[4]
Margaret married Joseph Green in 1864.[5] The family lived in Whaplode in 1871, when Joseph worked as an agricultural labourer.[6] He was a "foreman agricultural labourer, 95 acres" in 1881.[7]
In 1883 the family emigrated to Canada.[citation needed] They lived in Toronto East.[8][9]
