On 15 Nov 1802 Owen conveyed his property, 60 acres of land in the Mississippi Territory located on the Tombigee River at the mouth of the Three Rivers to James Bilbo on a deed contained in Deed Book A, page 56, Washington County, AL and witnessed by Archibald Reed and Leonard D. Shaw.[2]
He appears on the 1803 tax list for Washington County, Mississippi Territory.[3]
His first wife is unknown but they married sometime before 1810 as Owen appears on the 1810 census of Baldwin County, Alabama with the following household members:
Owen died sometime after 1850 likely in Lauderdale County, Mississippi.[1]
