Patrick Sullivan was born in Victoria, Australia

Patrick "Pat Francis" was born in 1869 in the Town of Creswick, 18 kilometres north of the Town of Ballarat and 122 kilometres northwest of the capital of Melbourne, in the Shire of Hepburn, in Victoria, Australia^[1]. He was the son of Labourer, John (Sullivan) and Bridget (Cooney). His marriage to Emily (Howard) took place on the 18 September 1897 at 422 Queen Street, in the City of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He was around 27 years old and working as a Labourer, whereas Emily was 24 and working as a Domestic Servant. They were married by Albert James Abbott and witnesses were James and Annie (Holt). At the time of their marriage, the couple were living, and working, in the Town of Ballan, located on the Werribee River, 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia^[2]. The couple had 8 children together. At around the age of 54, Patrick passed away on the 26 August 1923 in the suburb of Claremont, City of Perth, Western Australia^[3]. His burial took place on the 28 August 1923 at Karrakatta Cemetery and Crematorium, Railway Road, Karrakatta, City of Perth, Western Australia. The location of his grave is in the Roman Catholic portion, Section DA, Grave 101^[4].
