When Katherine Summerford was born in 1790 in South Carolina, her father, Abraham, was 34, and her mother, Jerusha, was 28. She married and had children with John Hooks. She died after October of 1850 (enumeration date of 1850 census), probably in Toomsboro, Georgia.
