Biography
Donald, only son of Elizabeth McDonald and James Summers of Waikouaiti.
He married in 1933 to Winifred Hendry,
Winfred was born on 19 August 1902 and was the daughter of Thomas Hendry and Esther Churchill. They settled at Momoana where Donald worked as a Farmer.
Donald died in 1953 aged 53. His ashes are buried at Andersons Bay cemetery with Winifred. Winifred died at Dunedin Hospital aged 84 on 9 December 1986. Also in the plot are the ashes of Winifred's parents, Thomas and Esther. BLK 107 PLOT 12.
