Minnie was born in 1865. [1] Daughter of John Abel Summers and Anne Jackson.

On 2 April 1871 Devon born Minnie M Summers (6) along with sisters Annie H Summers (11), Florence E Summers (10) and Ada C F Summers (7), who were born in London, were pupils in Moor Lane, Hatherleigh, Okehampton, Devon, England. [2]

Minnie Summers (13) arrived in Rockhampton, Queensland from England on board the vessel Kapunda on 23 June 1878. [3]
