Biography

This profile is part of the Sumner Name Study.

Clement was born in 1671. He was the son of William and Elizabeth Sumner who came to American from England. He married Margaret Harris in 1698, in Boston where they resided and raised seven children. He died in 1740 in Boston.

All of his children were baptized on 15 July 1711 in 2nd Church, Boston, MA, except Ebenezer who was baptized 9 Nov 1712.. Ref: Hartford Times; Genealogy of Elihue Warren by R. F. Cooke
