Elizabeth Sumner as born on June 14, 1743 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Her parents were Increase Sumner and his wife Sarah Sharp Sumner.[1]
An intention to marry was published for Elizabeth Sumner of Roxbury and Charles Cushing, Esq. [2] They were married in Roxbury on August 25, 1768.[3]
Charles signed a will on November 5, 1910 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States. It stated, I give and bequest unto my beloved wife Elizabeth during the term of her life a suitable maintenance out of my estate at the discretion of my Executor. If the Estate where I now dwell, which she possesses of my gift, shall not be sufficient for that purpose in-lieu of Dower. Their son Charles was appointed executor.[4]
