Biography

George Henry was born in 1771, to Thomas and Rebecca (Downer) Sumner and was a twin brother to Henry George. They and their five brothers and two sisters were all born in Thetford Orange County Vermont. They all emigrated with their parents to Kingston, New Brunswick, Canada in 1783. He married Anna Redway who was also a twin, They had seven children. (see Anna's profile)
