"Nginmelindjeri" known as Philip Sumner was born in about 1864, possibly at Point McLeay, South Australia, Australia.

He married Agnes (Aggie) Clayton Cambo on 22 August 1884 at Point McLeay, South Australia, Australia [1] and they had two children, Isabella Rose Sumner and Hector Vincent Sumner.

In about 1902 he moved into a relationship with Katipevild Pinkie (Karpany) Mack Aka Margaret/Maggie and they had had at least three sons, Benjamin Philip (1903–06), who died of whooping cough, Philip John (1905-) and Hurtle John (born 1908) and at least four daughters, Laura Isabella (born 1906), Ellen (born 1909), Wilhelmina (born 1911) and Nita Louisa (born 1913 [2]).

He passed away in about 1921 at Point McLeay, South Australia, Australia [3].
