Biography

Roger was born in 1737. He was the son of Seth Sumner.

13 Oct 1764 Jerusha Billings, married Roger Sumner, Deacon, of Stoughton, Massachusetts. [1] The Sumner's known children were [2] :

  • Jerusha, b. 3 Jan 1766, Milton; d. 20 Dec 1779
  • Lewis, b. 22 Nov 1767; d. 26 Sep 1815, Brookline
  • Roger, b. 24 Apr 1770, Milton
  • Seth, b. 7 Dec 1773, Milton
  • Ebenezer B. Sumner, b. 1779 to parents Jerusha Billings and Roger Sumner; d. age 86 yrs, 14 May 1865, Stoughton, Norfolk, Massachusetts. [3]

Jerusha (Billings) Sumner passed away 4 April 1828. [2]

He passed away in 1823. His will was probated in 1824[4]
