I am trying to enter the name Samuel Sumner, born abt. 1786 in North Carolina, as per census records for 1850 and 1860 in Linn County, Missouri, where he and his wife Sarah Jane Clark Sumner settled. This Samuel Sumner died in 1863 in Yellowcreek, Brookfield, Linn County, Missouri. He is a DIFFERENT Samuel Sumner than the one Bryan Stearns seems to be managing! Your system keeps sending me to Bryan's Samuel, does not recognize mine. I can't seem to get this across to your system. What do I need to do PLEASE to enter my ancestor Samuel Sumner b. abt. 1786 in NC? Besides 9 other kids, he and Sarah Jane Clark Sumner had a son Samuel Sumner b. abt. 1829 Clark County, Indiana. He had a son James Clark Sumner. J.C. also had a son; you have accepted this son Samuel Sumner, born in 1886 Missouri.
