Ledger — Sumner.A very pretty wedding was celebrated at Fremantle on Tuesday afternoon, 26th instant, when Miss Annie Francis Sumner, second daughter of Mr. George Sumner, of Fremantle, and late of Grantham, Lincolnshire, was united in marriage to Mr. Edson Ledger, of the firm of E. & J. Ledger, of this city, and youngest son Mr. David Ledger, of Perth, and late of Leeds, Yorkshire. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. M. Hopcraft, and Mr. Joseph Ledger acted as best man. There were four bridesmaids — Miss Clara Ledger, Miss Martha Banks, Miss Florrie Sumner, and Miss Daisy Sumner. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly gowned in white serge, trimmed with watered silk, with wreath and veil. Miss Ledger and Miss Banks wore dresses of pink cashmere and cream lace, and the Misses Sumner were frocked in canary and cream lace. After the ceremony, the party drove to the residence of the bride's parents, where the breakfast was laid. There was a large number present, and the usual toasts wore proposed and re- sponded to, the wishes for the future happiness of Mr. and Mrs. Ledger being many and sincere. A dance was held in honor of the occasion at Mason's Hall, North Fremantle, which was kept up until an early hour the following morning. The presents were numerous and handsome.
