Biography

Priscilla Sunderland, the daughter of Benjamin Sunderland and Ann Lyles, was born in Calvert County MD in 1808. She died in Calvert County MD 15 October 1876. ^[1]

She married first Rev. John Taneyhill. They had one son, Thomas, who died in infancy. She married second John Wilson Fowler. ^[2]

Tombstone Inscription: See image attached.

"Mrs. Priscilla Fowler, who resided near Chaneyville, died suddenly on Sunday, October 15 at the age of 68 years." Published in the 21 Oct 1876 issue of the Calvert Journal.

Family Note: The Tanyhill marriage resulted in two daughters who died in infancy. ^[4]
